Vacancies:

We are currently searching for General Labourers who are willing to work based on a DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) roster, for projects in:

  • Mildura, Victoria
  • Griffith & Hillston, New South Wales
  • Adelaide Hills, South Australia
  • Manjimup, Western Australia

Based on project circumstances, these positions are a swing of 3 weeks on, 1 week off.

 

Position Description:

General Labourer – Level 1

Tasks for a General Labourer start with essential duties such as threading and clipping nets. As you progress, you will take on more trade-specific tasks like tensioning cables and setting nets.

We are dedicated to helping you develop a broad range of skills and deepen your understanding in every aspect of protective structure installation.

The work is often in EWPs at heights approximately 5m from ground and can be physically demanding.
Dedication and commitment to learning the finer aspects of the trade whilst producing the highest quality work is a must.

To be considered for this position, the successful applicants:
MUST hold a valid White Card.
MUST hold a current Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals.
Willing to perform hands-on tasks with specialised tools.
Comfortable working at heights up to 5m in an EWP (boom lift).
Enjoy outdoor construction of large structures.
Follow instructions from Site Supervisors.

Key Details:

This is an entry level position in the Protective Structure Trade.
Swing roster of 3 weeks on, 1 week off – DIDO.
All tools, equipment, PPE, and training will be provided to assist new recruits to become highly skilled and experienced Netting Installers.
